Ruth Colling ACA
Ruth joined Hollingdales in 1996 as a chartered student and following their merger went on to qualify with HLB Kidsons in 2000. Following qualification she became responsible for a variety of audit clients including owner managed businesses, charities, further education colleges, pension schemes and housing associations. Following promotion to audit manager in 2001 Ruth gained significant experience in the charity and education sector.
Ruth was appointed finance manager at an independent school in Bath in 2003 with responsibility for the management of the school’s financial accounting systems, preparation of management and statutory accounts and the administration of a busy school office.
After a break to start a family Ruth joined Hollingdale Pooley in 2007 to provide accounting assistance to the firm’s charity clients, assisting with the preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, year-end audit papers, budgets and cash flow forecasts. She is able to provide practical advice to clients on day to day financial issues.
Marlene Green
Marlene has over 20 years experience providing accountancy and administrative support services to a variety of clients after previously working for Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Hollingdales, HLB Kidsons and Baker Tilly. She is currently responsible for the provision of bookkeeping services for several of our charity clients.
Kerry Hopper
Kerry joined Hollingdale Pooley in 2006 after completion of his A levels. He is currently studying the AAT Qualification and has aspirations to move on to the ACCA qualification in the near future.
Kerry is responsible in all aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation and also manages our payroll clients.
Emily Wright Maat
After gaining her AAT qualification in 2006, Emily joined Hollingdale Pooley as a trainee accountant in 2008 where she is working towards her ACCA qualification. She has previously had experience in the commercial sector and more recently with RSM Robson Rhodes where she was involved in the delivery of audit work, predominantly in the public and ‘not for profit’ sector.
Emily is responsible for assisting in all aspects of accounting, auditing and taxation work and also assists in office administration when required.
